Trails within Collier Memorial State Park are temporarily closed because of winds 25-35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. Fire damaged trees have snapped in the area and the trails are closed as a safety precaution.

Cottonwood Canyon State Park is closed because of a fire. Campers and visitors are being evacuated. Campers with reservations for the coming days will be notified of the closure and will receive refunds. We don’t know how long the park or campground will be closed.

The following trails at Silver Falls State Park are closed so firefighters can work a nearby, small fire: Upper Smith, Cutoff Trail, Buck Mountain, and Howard Creek trail. No visitors or structures are currently under threat. Visitors should stay aware in case conditions change.
