The armed conflict in Sudan has had a devastating impact on millions of civilians. Canada is steadfast in our commitment to deliver life-saving aid.

Since the horrific terrorist attack on Israel by Hamas on October 7th, Canada has focused on the protection of all civilians. Israelis and Palestinians have the right to live in peace, dignity, and security, without fear.

Ukraine is definitely stronger now than it was two years ago. Today, we signed another security agreement, which strengthens the position of our people, particularly our soldiers. This is a strong and timely decision that will significantly strengthen our resilience.

Two years ago tomorrow, Putin launched an unjustifiable and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, leaving countless dead and forcing millions to flee.

In the years since, despite Russia’s unrelenting attacks, the people of Ukraine have shown remarkable courage. They have fiercely

Almost two years ago, Putin chose war and invaded Ukraine – unleashing unspeakable violence and brutality on the Ukrainian people.

Two years later, I want to make one thing very clear: Canada’s support for Ukraine continues to be unwavering and unequivocal. Slava Ukraini!

Pierre Poilievre is focused on reckless cuts that will hurt the most vulnerable. See my comments on his latest plan:

🚨SHOCKING🚨 Pierre Poilievre admits he would cut aid to the most vulnerable! What else does he want to cut? Are housing, dental care, childcare next?

Since the very beginning of the crisis, our position has always been, and continues to be, centered on the firm belief that more assistance is needed in Gaza—not less.

Today, we’re stepping up our efforts with an additional $40M to help the most vulnerable Palestinian civilians.

Ukrainians are stronger than cold and darkness.

Ukrainians are stronger than intrigues, falsehoods, psyops, pain, despondency, despair, and discord.

Ukrainians are stronger than fear.

Ukrainians are stronger than terror.

Ukrainians are stronger than evil.

SHOCKING! This is how Pierre Poilievre and the Conservatives celebrated after voting to try and end $10 a day child care.

Another vote against supporting hard-working middle-class Canadian families.

I’ve seen comments on social media asking why is Canada funding social development programs abroad when there is support needed here at home.

Our government continues investing in programs that help Canadians, but here's why supporting the most vulnerable abroad makes sense:

We need additional corridors, sustained flow of aid, fuel deliveries, and unimpeded and safe access for humanitarian workers, so that essential life-saving assistance can reach vulnerable civilians.

The number of humanitarian aid workers who have lost their lives during this crisis continues to grow, which is completely unacceptable.

Today alone, there was a strike against a UNRWA school and MSF International convoy. Aid workers must be protected as they try to save civilian lives.
