On Tuesday, our Debate Mate teams won two of the debates they took part in. The teams have made such great progress and this was reflected in the feedback given by the competitions judges.

Mr Ellidge from the Year 10 Pastoral Team has been leading some more interventions with our pupils!

As you will be aware, we break up for our end of term holiday on Thursday 28th March.
Students will be finishing slightly earlier at 14:30 rather than 15:00
We would like to wish you all a safe and happy break and look forward to welcoming you back on Monday 15th April at 08:15.

Today we have received our very own minibus! This way we will be able to conduct many more education trips and visits for our Leesbrook students.
This will also allow us to keep the cost of local trips down due to transport being free / minimal.

Last Friday, 37 Year 9 pupils went to the Etihad Stadium for a tour of the grounds followed by a presentation on business in football. The focus of the tour was to emphasise the relevance of Languages outside the classroom and the important role they play in the football world.

This week in Character Curriculum, we have been delivering content to further safeguard our pupils. With the upcoming half term break, we believed that spreading awareness around these topics would help us to safeguard our pupils.

Our Drama department took our GCSE Drama students (and some year 9 students) to watch 'Sister Act' at the Palace Theatre in Manchester. They had an excellent time and were mesmerised by the live talent on stage. Our student demonstrated the most outstanding audience etiquette.
