People take the streets to protest when they still believe there is hope to change things in-house. In Tunisia, youth got the destructive message of the stubborn old politicians & decided to migrate to Europe by crossing the Mediterranean Sea & risking their lives🇹🇳 Tunisian Presidency - الرئاسة التونسية

Eliminating youth from the electoral process & breaking the electoral law by issuing illegal ordinances would be a political execution of youth & severe meddling with the election. It will drive Tunisian youth to leave the country due to exclusion!

The integrity of the electoral committee is important to the election. Forcing the electoral committee to commit electoral crimes is meant to taint & break the process for everyone. The electoral committee is under siege by the current political regime, as is democracy overall.

The integrity of Tunisia’s presidential election & the participation of youth are critical to the revival of Hope and to the belief of millions in the possibility of a brighter and more prosperous future IN Tunisia ...🇹🇳
Elections & Democracy are stability mechanisms🗳️

The electoral committee announced its intent to raise the age limit to eliminate over a million potential candidates & prevent 4.5 Million youth from being represented in the presidential election, a total defiance the electoral law that is the law of the land. #DemocracyInDanger

The longer the Tunisian political crisis takes to be resolved, the more difficult it is to revive the economy, create jobs, unlock growth, & more young Tunisians will chose to leave Tunisia, via legal & illegal immigration. Tunisia’s democracy supports stability in the region 🇹🇳

Saied intends to postpone the presidential election, which is to be held this summer per the legal & institutional calendar. Without democracy & hope for millions of youth, Tunisia is becoming an open sky prison with EU money funding the prison gates & democracy dying in darkness

Legal scholars confirm that the Meloni/Saied political MOU is illegal per Tunisian law & infringed on the very same constitution President Said wrote. All policies built on such MOU might fall like a house of cards. Mediterranean countries should build stronger sovereign deals.
