Philosophy→PoliSci→Law.
Opportunity is my favorite word.
Covid policy killed businesses, communities & education but definitely not viruses. Normal now.

The campus protests should bother you:

1) because they want to destroy America.
2) because they want to destroy America.
3) because they want to destroy America.

Historical reminder--they may start by attacking Jews but it sure as heck won't end there.

The campus protestors are doing a great job convincing parents that they should join the BDS movement.

Boycott, Divest, and Sanction the universities.

The Tik Tok 'ban' and campus 'protests' are not about free speech.
Framing them as such misses the core issues.

Not peaceful protests
Not organic
Likely not student-run
Pro terror
Pro anarchy
Anti American

You can enable free speech without promoting the demolition of our educational institutions and system of government. These “protests” need to be shut down

Thought about taking the transit today. But I really don’t have 2.5 hrs each way to be wasting away on the LIRR, subway, and bus according to Google Maps instructions.

30 minutes on the Belt it is.

“Talks with the student protesters are continuing, said Ben Chang, a Columbia spokesperson. “We have our demands; they have theirs,” he said.

Can you imagine if we made 'demands' of our colleges years ago?

'Our demands haven't been met' repeatedly. What exactly are they demanding?
Quite certain they wouldn't be able to articulate anything rational.

Bingo.
Actual speech was prosecuted.
Now, committing vandalism, assault, or false imprisonment is just shrugged off as 'protest.'

I'm glad to oppose this for the UK.
While we're on the subject, anyone from across the pond is welcome to speak against the NYC congestion tax. 👍

Protest is free speech.

Encampments are not. Violence is not. Destruction is not. Preventing others from access to parts of campus or buildings is not.

If you've been disciplined for anything beyond protest, then you were not disciplined for free speech.

I'm so fucking tired of seeing people holding up the activist (communist) fist. I don't want to eradicate and change everything about our nation that our forefathers built. And I don't want a damn thing to do with your coveted governance for The Collective. GTFO

This is America.

Appreciate the effort, but will never forget these are the monsters that let Randi Weingarten 🇺🇦🇺🇸💪🏿👩‍🎓🟣 play politics with our kid’s mental and physical health.

They supported locking down kids and forced them on screens all day.

Now they’re concerned about screen time? Please.
