On the contrary, maintaining the Triple Lock is in accord with the wishes of the Irish people in Nice II and Lisbon II.

It was even promised by Micheál Martin in 2020.

Lisbon II saw the Referendum Commission assure every household in the State that the Triple Lock 'will be associated with the instrument of ratification if Ireland does ratify the Lisbon Treaty'.

PANA Chairman Roger Cole interviewed on CRCfm 102.9 today on neutrality and Simon Harris TD plans to destroy the Triple Lock.
