Probably best known as Yosser Hughes. Mental health wasn’t really talked about back then, but his portrayal of a man who’s life was destroyed by Thatcherism was an important representation of what 1,000s of men were suffering, and suffering in silence

We are changing the procedure for staff phoning in sick. We will no longer accept phone calls; you must fill in a Google Form at least 2 weeks in advance. Compassionate leave for bereavement will require a pathologist’s report and photographic evidence.
