Every time I open Threads, it's still just authors complaining that reviewers are a bunch of thieves and scammers who don't review their ARCs.

Ok, but this is exactly why I don't agree to review self-published books AT ALL anymore, and I'm not alone. 🤷‍♀️

In the US at least, if colleges would stop charging $50k/year or more and putting students into massive debt, people would feel less like the degree they get is supposed to lead to a job that pays well enough they can actually get out of this debt.
