When this pangolin was rescued from illegal trade and taken to a rehab center, he was dehydrated and timid. After months of careful monitoring, he became active & strong enough to be released💚
Thank you DNPW & WCP Zambia for your work returning pangolins safely to the wild!

If you're a pangolin, it's the norm to be an only child.
Most female pangolins give birth to just 1 pangopup!
Mom's tail offers the perfect one-seat perch for a curious pup like this Sunda pangolin to observe the world while mom forages.

What is community-led governance, & why is it vital in sustaining vibrant landscapes & communities?
Planet Indonesia created a Governance Index to track & analyze this in their conservation efforts, enabling sustainable outcomes for both people and pangolins.

Some pangolins need months in our care before they're ready for life back in the wild. But some are only with us briefly. Over a period 13 days we received five pangolins, all of which were thankfully in excellent health and able to be released within 24 hours!

A pangolin’s diet is mostly made up of ants & termites, so you can imagine how beneficial they are when it comes to insect control. Just one pangolin can eat enough termites to protect over 40 acres of land from destruction. Happy weekend from these vital forest guardians! 🌿

Rise for Nature trains former poachers as beekeepers in Cameroon🐝
By giving local & Indigenous people alternative livelihoods, they're changing behaviors that put pressure on pangolins, turning conservation into a communal responsibility.
We're excited to be supporting them✨
