Can you believe it‼️

🥴Senior Leader called me 'dangerous' for calling out systemic racism

🥴Apparently, speaking up for equity in the face of inequity is deemed “dangerous”

🥴Describing inequitable treatment as systemic racism in cases of ethnic health inequity is “dangerous”

The vast majority of diabetes provision is provided in primary care. We wouldn’t STOP diabetes secondary care for a review, leaving the most complex and vulnerable patients exposed. This does not support parity of mental and physical health and people will die.

I normally expect toxicity from NHS England but this one is interesting.

Secondary care cover ends before General Practices cover? Normally NHS England trip over themselves to screw us first...at any cost. I mean they outwardly go out and make things shit.

Pathetic either way.

Siri , show me someone who has been sent out to do the comms and take the flack on a terrible idea and something no one wanted to happen , except certain bankers and bean counters in NHS England, you know who you are .

I find it really hard to hate on Chris as he was a lifeline of clarity during COVID.

But I’m really struggling with him now taking the role of spokesperson for NHS Englands screw ups by being the messaging/comms person.

He knows exactly what he is doing with these tweets.

Wouldn’t it be great for NHS Practitioner Health to be reducing its service because it was no longer needed? That NHS staff didn’t endure un-sustainable pressure, toxic culture and moral injury every day?
But we do.
So we need this safety net more than ever.

Nigel D'Souza OK Keith Siau Well evidently the solution above is to treat SAS Drs with dignity and respect not workhorses. You’ve just said SAS DRs need to move to remote areas but experience shows they’re used and abused when they do

This information is vital when representing my colleagues and patients locally.

Hi GMC

I see you recently took some time to reply to concerns about a mysoginistic anonymous twitter account, stating you'll investigate. Thank-you

I was wondering if you could write a quick message reassuring Neena Jha that you won't be investigating her for this?

I am going to go against 5he Medtwitter grain (not aimed Dr Becky Haines and say I love this pricing!

We come on twitter and complain we want to do more but have no resources and no one respects us.

I think prices should be higher!

That’s okay PA Jerry (?doctor), I don’t think anybody really thought you had anything meaningful or useful to contribute anyway. Perhaps your refusal to engage will mean fewer doctors in distress since you won’t be snitch-tagging the GMC, so pros and pros I guess?

Rebecca Thomas Adrian Boyle Royal College of Emergency Medicine isn't there someone from NHSE saying lesser trained staff in primary care is spiking more referral to A&E.

I mean it's not a surprise- if you have people with lesser training seeing undifferentiated patients

Then again- what do I know

It now makes sense why Chris Hopson got out his tweet thread of thanks to doctors before this landed. His previous one on April fools day was interesting too.

He knew exactly what was coming and has become an expert in mugging people off.

He played us and we fell for it.

Vindictive hatred of and contempt for Drs by NHSE reaches new depths. Seems they intend to kill the profession literally as well as figuratively
