No. They are from different Genus. Bison are not found in India. But some use the word bison for Gaurs by mistake.

India just has Gaurs. But we have another animal which looks like a Gaur - which is Mithun aka Bos frontalis. Mithun is domesticated in North East.

It’s an Oriental Pied Hornbill.

One good spell and river engulfed the land. Bridge remain for now, but it is not useful as river has changed the course. Such is challenge in forest; every year the river course changes and hence put a check on effective patrolling. Alternate will be created.
