Brunson and Hart pulled before the 4th starts. I know it’s tough to “give up” on a game but losing this game by 5 or 40 won’t mean anything if we go and get game 5 and not have to worry about Brunson getting further banged up in a lost game.

If the Knicks don’t cut it to under 20 by the end of the 3rd, I hope they pull Brunson to avoid further injury to that foot. If they don’t, I will be praying the entire 4th quarter…

Tough b/c Brunson already landed on someone’s foot this game. If he gets hurt in a 30 pt game in the 2nd half & we then lose the next two games b/c he is unavailable, that would be almost unforgivable. Yet if he rests & we win game 5 then gm 6 or 7, might get OG back for ECF 🤔

34 pts isn’t an insanely high scoring quarter for this current era…. The issue is we only scored 14 pts!!! The Knicks won game 2 by scoring 130. 34 pts per quarter is on pace for 136. Needless to say what 14 pts per quarter will do. Need to get the offense figured out & fast!!

A game like this is what frustrates me that Burks couldn’t even be the 8th man the last few games. No matter how much he was scuffling or in the “dog house”, once Bojan went down, we needed another capable scorer & he rotted on the bench, but look at him now!
