I was in Press box at CCS today where we’re supposed to be neutral. It took all of my inner resolve not to scream & shout with the rest of you when those goals went in. Then I saw Mark Denham & Cardiff City FC media team leaping up in joy. Stuff it, I’m joining them next time 😂

To those who reckon Colwill can’t last 90 mins I say watch the 100-plus of him versus a good Soton team. He was magnificent when moved to 10. Rubin, Ashford & those young FBs energised Ralls/Siopis/Meite & other older hands. Keep your ballers on the pitch and this is what happens

Wow what a FAB effort by those Kairdiff Kids (with help of course from the old guard!) So great to see their verve, adventure, bravery & ability on the ball. Gave absolutely everything, fans responded. Frankly this team is better off without some of those missing Bulut regulars

Learned this evening of the passing of Leighton James. With Gareth Bale & Ryan Giggs he made it a trio of incredible players flying down that left wing for Wales for half a century. Had MASSIVE row with him once - next few days he rang to give me stories, bore no grudges. RIP

Atalanta overcoming Liverpool reminded me of that epic Welsh football night when Merthyr Tydfil beat them in European Cup Winners Cup at a packed out Penydarren. Welsh Cup was a fab competition back then, big crowds, loads of interest/publicity, great games.

So Cardiff fans I've just renewed two season tickets (more fool me 🤣). It says £15 for a new card, then upon payment says 'photocard'. Not sure where/how you're meant to supply the photo? Any help appreciated - sure I'm missing something extremely simple here!!!! Grazie

Bulut has his future and family to think about, fans are currently being asked to buy season tickets not knowing what direction we're taking, Trust sent a good letter 2 weeks ago and the club's response/communication is zero. Not good enough.

Yes Bulut appointment was very much driven by Dalman, but nothing major happens at Cardiff City FC without Vincent Tan’s approval. He accepted the value of Bulut coming on board, surely he can’t throw that away now? Penned a few thoughts…

Xabi Alonso once rang me completely out of the blue, wanted to discuss Toshack bringing him through, why he’d do the same with Wales teenagers. I knew little about him at time, even though he was with Liverpool. Now he’s won Bundesliga as manager. Right about Tosh back then too!

Brilliant weekend in London (what a city) despite that dreadful Cardiff performance, poor use of subs on the day etc!! Now back in our other fabulous capital tucking into this roast with lashings of vegetables. What do food connoisseurs make of that then 😎

Perhaps the worst performance of the season that from Cardiff, certainly second half anyway. Ball like a hot potato, not sure anybody played well? Too slow, ponderous all round again I’d say. Bulut needs to encourage players to play forward, not backwards, if he stays
