Iceland! We were woken at 6am with the alarms and immediately evacuated from our hotel here. Everything went smoothly and we all witnessed a scene we will never forget. Everyone from our group is safe.

Whenever you feel like you've seen it all in the Canadian Rockies, you round a corner and set eyes on yet another mind-bending lake. This was a nice find from a few weeks ago, spotted on a hike with my wife, Meghan J. Ward. Nymph Lake.

There is this place called Fortress Lake, located well away from any road and hidden deep in the Canadian Rockies. Truly a place of magic, brimming with potential for photography and adventures of all kinds.

There are over 50,000 king penguins at Gold Harbour - I've gotten to know them a bit over my visits to South Georgia.
