We've joined Crisis and 35 other organisations to write to the Home Secretary @jamescleverly about the #CriminalJusticeBill .

He must reconsider proposals to criminalise people forced to sleep on our streets, and focus on addressing the causes of #homelessness instead.

What happened to Carl Page is horrendous. The Post Office destroyed his life. He went to prison and lost everything. His testimony is devastating.

We've now learned through a secret recording that a senior Post Office boss was TOLD he was innocent in 2015, but did nothing.

The current measures in the Criminal Justice Bill will criminalise rough sleeping. The Minister needs to sit down and read the bill and, more importantly, encourage her colleagues in the Home Office to ditch this cruel nonsense.

Very much wondering if Govt understand their own Bill. It enforces against people if they look like they're 'intending to sleep rough'. They have said there will be no additional support for people. It will criminalise rough sleeping & we need those parts removed from the Bill
