The old man is having a short stay at the vet clinic. With a few old age issues, babesiosis and exhaustion, he is staying under treatment for the time being. But he will never be alone again ❤️

Abandoned, old, in pain and very scared. How could anyone do this 😢 he is safe now of course and at the emergency vet. It breaks our hearts to think how he was probably discarded and left all alone and confused. It can be such a cruel world.

This is exactly why our focus is on neutering stray dogs.

On World Stray Animals Day, we thank every single person who donates to help our rescuers feed the stray dogs of Romania. Their hearts are truly pure; the only ones who show love, attention and compassion for these abandoned dogs.

And we were blessed to wipe our tears and watch Rex meet his new family in Romania. He has a sister to pay with too now! A true miracle, this is a rare outcome for abandoned dogs here, but the perfect happy ever after for Rex. We are literally over the moon with happiness!

This abandoned pet dog is crying, he wanted to wait where his owner had cruelly dumped him 😢 and didn’t want to come with us. He is safe in our care as we had to take him to safety.

The strays certainly knows who feeds them, chasing after our van, so excited. Our video made us so sad too, because this week we saw an owner drive off just like this, the dog sprinting after his owners car as long as he could. THIS is the reality when dogs are abandoned.

In the sweltering heat, we are over the moon that these dogs are safe today. Fed and lots of water and sleeping in foster care. Thanks to Alison and Nisha, our UK team, for being there in South Romania helping ❤️

Brought to our medical centre to be spayed, only they told us to keep her. She has broken our hearts, she is only a young pup. We have named her Bella and of course we have kept her here with us in Romania.

An actual miracle happened in the shelter in Ukraine today. Shrek literally managed to get up and start wobbly walking on his own! After being paralysed since he was rescued, we are speechless! Go Shrek!!!
