This morning I wept for Black women. We deserve so much better.

I have been up all night thinking about this. We are in a very sad state over in academia land.

It doesn’t feel safe.
I don’t feel protected.

And, I am tired of grieving.

Dear Black Women/My Sistas,

Not every fight is “the good fight.”

Not every ground is worth your stand.

To stay here, you might have to leave there — and that’s ok. You have nothing to prove but so much preciousness to lose!

I’m watching the “Marbles” episode of Squid Game The Challenge (reality show).

It is astounding to watch two white men GASLIGHT a Black women and a woman from the deaf community.

Watching it play out in real time was WILD and triggering.

I laughed waaaaay to hard at this. Or, were those tears 🤷🏾‍♀️
