Thank you, veterans! Yesterday, 1LT Jeff Peledge, US Army, brother of Assistant Principal Jay Peledge, spoke to students during our Veterans Day Assembly. Thank you to those who serve and have served our country.

Seventh grade students worked on their engineering skills while creating rollercoasters during science class last week!

Today Parker Middle School, we marched paraphrases to Marley’s words. Then, we pulled evidence from the text that connects his words to Scrooge before building the “ponderous” chain that he “bears himself.”

If we continue with averaging scores over a course to determine a final grade instead of valuing more recent and consistent evidence of learning (as focused on a specific standard or learning outcome), we can't claim to value growth because, in fact, we don't.
