Credit this place to where I learned we used to have lynx, boar and overall much wilder countryside when I was very young. As well as spending two seasons as a volunteer keeper there in my teens, it really did set me on a life path.

In 2022, my good pal Kelly & I started a little garden (with permission from Islington Council) on an unused & permanently locked up basketball court.

2 years, many, many trips to collect materials & f*ck knows how many native wildflower seeds later, this is where we are.

First badger watch in a while in the woods by my parents this evening. This curmudgeonly sort ambled round dirty, sneezing and scratching like a drunk that’d just woken up after a night in a bush.

My 7 year-old nephew’s Easter hat. The two chicks have “offered themselves for crucifixion” and their chant on the right reads “fart fart mama gaga fa fa”. Happy Easter 🐣
