There is more than one PL club who will be sweating now.

Somebody within the EFL must have been aware of the plans by the FA to scrap replays given clubs, apparently, knew nothing about it.

Many Everton fans are wanting Sean Dyche out of the club (which I understand) and want a manager to take the club forward. However, the club needs stabilising before it can move forward and, I believe, Sean Dyche is best suited for this. Again, it shows the mess the club is in.

Wouldn't it have been advisable for the FA to fully consult with the EFL prior to announcing the abolition of replays in the FA Cup? This gives further ammunition for an independent football regulator. The FA Cup is for all - not just for a handful of clubs and the EPL to dictate

I have no pleasure in saying this, but this shows the gravity of the situation at Everton. Whatever we think of the club, this is a long-established club with real fans. No clubs should go through this, but this is the price of very poor ownership.

It appears Everton's financial situation is worse than many thought. Administration is closer than even I was initially aware of. Irrespective of who it affects, clubs should not be run in a way that risks this.

The Premier League have come to an agreement with clubs on new financial rules. I think I need to have a look at these... and see who they really benefit.

If you think Man Utd aren't struggling with the current financial rules, just look at Dan Ashworth. If he's that important to their set-up, why only offer around £5m and are seemingly struggling to raise that figure?
