Great to see more high quality schemes across England coming forward, especially research into better crossings being led by Transport for West Midlands. #gamechanger
Dear Mark Harper There is only one 'blanket 20mph limit' local authority in the whole of the UK and its in the City of Westminster covering all their roads, including the 'A' road outside Houses of Parliament. Put there by Conservatives to protect MP and government staff.

Phil Jones Active Travel England These tools look a great way to have a consistent checklist for routes, crossings and area-based schemes.
Great to see Active Travel England publishing detailed tools for Scheme Review and Design Assistance.

Phil Jones Our car has a speed limiter which I've been using in 20 mile an hour zones for the last year or so. Weird at first but now I'd never go back. 20mph takes all the stress out and the average speed in London is ~10 miles an hour, it's not making any difference to journey times.
