Rishi Sunak’s Home Office has lost track of half the asylum seekers it wants to send to Rwanda. Another masterclass by a doomed PM on combining cruelty with incompetence. This vicious policy has cost taxpayers a fortune, alienated our allies and made the UK a pariah. Enough

Well I just think it’s a massive coincidence that a man who failed in his asylum application to stay here in the UK, was handed a cheque for £3k to get on a commercial flight all within 48 hours of the local elections, I really do.

They’ve lost 3,500 asylum seekers.

But they did manage to find one - who was willing to go to Rwanda - and they agreed to pay him £3000 to be flown there, so they could fleetingly pretend their hideous little plan was underway.
