Update 6:38 a.m.: Administrators met with encampment participants at approximately 4 a.m. where they communicated that the encampment must be removed from Hearn Plaza by 7 a.m. If it is not removed, the “conduct process” will commence.

Update 8:14 a.m.: After speaking with administrators, participant confirms that they will meet with Wake Forest donors, President Susan Wente and Aramark Corporation. They await a written agreement from administrators guaranteeing that they may protest at a different location.

Update 9:49 a.m.: The Office of Communication and External Relations sent a campus-wide email with a statement from administrators. The email confirms that an agreement has been reached that allows protestors “to continue to demonstrate in accordance with [University] policies.”
