#OnThisDay in 1910, Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin FRS was born. She won the 1964 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for using X-ray crystallography to solve the atomic structure of molecules such as penicillin and insulin, the only British woman scientist to have won a Nobel Prize.
New open-access #UOGjournal study by Hong et al. demonstrates that low placental growth factor levels with raised umbilical artery and uterine artery pulsatility index strongly predicts preterm birth in pregnancies complicated by fetal growth restriction. bit.ly/3UzTy4c
