The new season got underway in earnest with a convincing 82 run win at Whalley Range in the Sunday Premier Division.

Adam Taylor top scored with 28 as our 3XI posted 126-7. Ste Ritchie was the star man though with his 8-13 ensuring the Prestwich total was never in threat.

The league has been further pushed back.

Setting your alarm clock for a morning bowl-out will not be on many cricketing CVs.

So it was slightly unreal that five players from Prestwich and five from opponents Orrell Red Triangle assembled at 10.30am for the lottery of a bowl-out.

The 1XI win their ECB National Club Championship bowl out with Orrell Red Triangle 4-3.

Our 1XI's scheduled ECB National Club Championship game at home to Orrell Red Triangle is off and will be replaced with a bowl out to decide who goes through to the next round.

The bowl out will start at 10:30am and the bar will be open from 10am for all you Sunday early starters!

Junior cricket training this Friday (April 19) is OFF.

However, the club will be open from 6pm for parents to pick up junior membership forms & sign up their children, and also collect our seasonal welcome letter, which contains important information for the rest of the season.
