Congratulations to Professor Georgina Long AO on being awarded the 2023 ESMO Women for Oncology Award at #ESMO23 . I enjoyed being the photographer for the inspired women who flocked to Georgina for a photo at the end of the session.

As a career clinician, I want to acknowledge the referendum result and the strain it places on Indigenous people. I also acknowledge the statement from Indigenous leaders for a week of silence, and pledge continued support for Indigenous-led solutions for cancer care and control.
