It is disappointing to see yet more hatred in our society, especially concerning the safety of our children. The threats, hate and violence against 2SLGBTQIA+ communities are completely unacceptable. Every individual deserves the right to self-identify in Canada.

Despite protests across the country saying otherwise, let me be clear: Every child has the right to feel safe and seen. It’s a fundamental part of growing up.
