On Tuesday 5th of March, RAF Waddington hosted Air Vice-Marshal Flewin CBE (AOC 1 Gp) and Air Vice-Marshal Appleton (AOC 2 Gp) whilst they conducted their respective AFI’s on Station. This was AVM Appleton’s first Annual Formal Inspection as the new AOC 2 Group.

Congratulations to the aircraft technician apprentices who graduated from No.1 School of Technical Training at RAF Cosford. We wish them all every success in their first tours at RAF Coningsby, RAF Lossiemouth, RAF Marham, RAF Odiham and RAF Waddington.

RAF Waddington marks the graduation of 6 trainees from the QWI-ISR course and 3 from the Reaper QWI course. After a year of academics and practical exercises, conducted in simulated and live environments, they achieved the standard to be awarded the coveted QWI badge. #ISTAR

Meteor Strike! A Typhoon from 1(F) Sqn RAF Lossiemouth has been working with Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace Rafales on an exercise in the Bay of Biscay, where they successfully engaged a Banshee 80 aerial target with a state-of-the-art Meteor missile. 🇬🇧🇫🇷
