One thing missing in so many programs today is the development of leadership. Kids have a hard time leading because they’re used to having adults control everything. We have to give up some control for leadership to develop. It’s hard for many adults, but very necessary for kids!

Struggle is normal.
Hardship is normal.
Discomfort is normal.
Inconveniences are normal.
Imperfect circumstances are normal.
Not feeling like it is normal.

Train yourself to show up anyway.

Whatever kind of TEAM you are on, be a great teammate.

- Β Be selfless
- Β Be on time
- Β Be positive
- Β Be prepared
- Β Be engaged
- Be supportive

No one wants a teammate who is late, negative, selfish, or not committed.

Great teams have great teammates.
