Jolene, AKA Chicken Bone, is doing well. Appetite is fine. Drinking water as usual. No signs of the bone yet. But I’m so relieved she’s being her usual loud & Velcro-like self.

Today is shaping up to be a great day! My NP is very pleased with my weight loss, BP, & BG improvement. She also helped me find a pharmacy with the staring dose of Mounjaro in stock! Shot 1 complete.

OMG!!! My BP this morning, even being taken immediately after walking to the exam room and weighing in and everything was 120/81!

Y’all that is the best BP I’ve had in years!!!

Fasting glucose this morning was 92. 13 days in a row below 110. 5 days in a row under 100.

Jolene’s night was uneventful. My night was spent waking up in a panic to check on her 4 or 5 times. 😂 So far all seems well in the land of The Dog Who Eats Everything.
