Good news that King Charles has chosen to be Patron of Cancer Research UK . I live with the fear of reoccurrence of breast cancer and melanoma. Both with higher rates of coming back. I along with many others live with fear. But we also live with the hope of science research #KingCharles
Before I left IOP, I gave my thoughts on the organisation’s path towards inclusive sustainability. Still my views of course! ceostrategy.media/blog/magazines…. #SustainableFuture #NetZero #inclusion #EarthDay #ESG #planet #futuregen
The The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is incredible for its science and care. I’ve been looked after them and want to raise as much as I can so others can benefit from vital work they do to treat patients. I’m doing their sponsored walk in May. Please support if you can 👇🏼

Penultimate immunotherapy done. Science has come so far that it can not only treat cancer but take huge strides to prevent its return. Mine was aggressive. Everything will be done to keep it away. Thank you scientists. Keep doing what you do to save lives #CancerPrevention
Good to hear today that I’m a case study for medical research into latest treatment techniques not commonly used in the UK. #cancerdiagnostics
A quick pit stop on the way to holiday and freedom. CT showed some abnormalities so in they go for a deeper look. This time using an MRI. This is alot of science tech to keep me safe and well. #sciencetech #MRI #cancerdiagnostics
Amazing piece of kit named after Rosalind Franklin. Smooth treatment, all done and now a holiday. #radiotherapy #breastcancer
“This is not the cancer you want to get. Its highly aggressive”. What I was told at my diagnosis. But a transfer to the Royal Marsden and the amazing science showed me how far we’ve come. We must keep going with research funding for new treatments. #triplenegativebreastcancer
Delighted to open Institute of Physics Juno celebration. Recognising 15 years of dedication by members of the physics community to address gender inequality. A new horizon beckons with a new inclusion award. For now, thanks Juno for driving change #diversity #EqualityForAll #inclusion
Having been told this week I have stage 3 melanoma as well as breast cancer, this article by Andrew Gregory is spot on. Such a dreadful shock. I’m lucky to get scans quickly but too many wait leading to treatment delays and awful anxiety #CancerCare

Great to see people talking about the impact of debilitating health issues on female leaders when not coping can still seen as a weakness rather than the start of a conversation. Keep up the good work for IOP Alex Brabbs 🍊 Menopause Matters #menopause #WomensHealth #femaleleaders
Today on #IDWGS , we celebrate women and girls' achievements in physics and remind the world how vital it is that every woman and girl sees that physics is for them. Our new VP for science & innovation Tara Shears speaks here about why that’s so important: womanthology.co.uk/expanding-poss…
Too many young people, including girls, are made to feel that they can't do physics, or they just don't fit in. Our Limit Less campaign supports young people to change to world and fulfill their potential by doing physics. Find out more: iop.org/LimitLess #IOPLimitLess
