For the first time in 190 days, some bakeries in Northern Gaza are back to selling bread..

For the first time since the aggression on Gaza began, a bakery in northern Gaza was allowed to reopen for business. Today, I visited the bakery and witnessed the immense relief felt by the community as they held fresh bread for the first time in months.

We invite nurseries into our school at least once a month. Build good relationships with parents as word of mouth is a key player here too. Social media too.

I'm pleased to announce I've been promoted to Lead Practitioner, which role I started today. I will be our schools Research Lead and leading on implementing Instructional Coaching across the school.
Dream job for me.

The School House, West Looe, came with my father's job as head. I was born here and yesterday a very kind, patient couple showed my sisters and me around their home. There must have been something about living in a school house: 4 of us became teachers.

Until ⁦Department for Education⁩ views pre-school care &education as an investment rather than an expense, nothing will change. Their current (under)funding formula is actively damaging provision; yet another #gaslighting exercise. theguardian.com/education/2024…

After months of behind the scenes work, I’m so excited to reveal our new name More Than Flags and Rainbows, a non-profit that will support schools with LGBTQ+ inclusion.

Through training, advocacy and support, we aim to make everyone feel safe and happy in school.
