I voted no tonight on the foreign aid package for one simple reason: U.S. taxpayers should not be providing billions more to the extremist Netanyahu government to continue its devastating war against the Palestinian people.

Cowards at Columbia University would rather shut down the entire university & deprive every student of a meaningful education rather than allow protests against Israeli atrocities to continue. This is how it works: bye bye free speech, bye bye international justice -- all that goes out the

The images of students at the Columbia occupation having a Passover Seder and NYU Faculty forming a line between the police and their students are visions of the kind of solidarity that the entrenched and powerful will tell you is impossible and utopian.

Where is your genuine sympathy for Palestinian suffering? Where is your piece against the genocide? Constant attacks on protesters after years writing anti-woke rants. You’re exemplary of the mediocrity of a status quo that’s perpetuating a genocide and, as a result, in crisis.

America's campuses are in utter turmoil, but one group stands tall: the student journalists who've been on the air or out at protests around the clock, gathering facts to counter online BS and showing the true meaning of free speech

I try my best to live by the Jewish ethic of Tikkun Olam: “repairing the world”. We are told that as Jews we must be “a light unto the nations” (Isaiah 42:6).

On this Passover, I’ve been thinking a lot about this obligation.

For me, Tikkun Olam has to include a free Palestine.

5/ human racism, which supposedly afflicts both left and right political spheres. This essentially anti-Semitic maneuver serves to whitewash Zionist criminality and its collaboration with right-wing, reactionary often anti-Semitic forces and attack those who call it out.

Second, Zionists claim and appropriate Jewish victimhood and suffering, presenting them as exceptional. Modern white supremacist anti-Semitism is conflated with anti-Jewish religious bigotry and portrayed as an ancient form of

3/ This false equation serves to foil resistance by regarding any criticism of Israeli policies towards Palestinians as an affront on all Jews, ie anti-Semitic. Further, it reframes a settler colonialist movement which oppresses an Indigenous population as an unsolvable religious

2/ Zionist propaganda depends on the promulgation of two major fallacies. First, it ahistorically equates Zionism and Judaism as interconnected since biblical days, instead of correctly presenting Zionism as a modern European movement with Christian roots.

Protesting against slaughter – as students in the US are doing – isn’t antisemitism

Education is all about provocation. Without being provoked even young minds can remain stuck in old tracks
