We separate children from their parents due to housing and pay strangers to care for them instead of using the same money to simply help their struggling families to obtain housing. This system wasn’t designed to help children. What clearer example do you need?

Parents experiencing difficulties or struggling with food and housing insecurity, domestic violence, mental health, addictions should be able to ask for help without fear of their children being removed from their care.

Excited to introduce a project I’ve been working on for the past few years and an issue I’m super passionate about.. so much work to be done to address barriers and challenges parents experience when navigating AB child welfare “family policing” system.
