We are approximately one hour from the media turning from 'Trump is the worst person who has ever lived' to '[FILL IN THE BLANK 2024 COMPETITIVE REPUBLICAN] is even worse than Trump. I mean, at least Trump [FILL IN THE BLANK].'

The people in politics and left wing media who spread the lies about peaceful protests all summer and fake media outrage the last 4 years over everything Trump did before Jan 6 need to acknowledge and work to correct it. You stoked this fire too.

CNN doing its typically great job of avoiding fear-mongering, alarmism and sensationalized melodramat after a traumatic and scary event, opting instead for sober caution and calm patience to report the news and prevent public (profitable-for-cable) panic:

Hate to break it to you but if Trump had won, there would have been violence on Wednesday, and it most certainly would have been worse. How do I know? Because Democrats have been endorsing violence as a political tactic throughout the Trump Administration.

This is why I have such a problem with the left and media's response to the events that took place at the Capitol. Read through this thread. The hypocrisy is unreal.

I’m not saying what happened at the Capitol is justified, I’m saying the media hypocrisy and fake outrage is ridiculous considering we endured a summer of riots, looting, and lawlessness. We literally had mayors calling on cops to stand down. We had senators raising bail money.

How is this any worse than Dem leaders calling for “widespread civil unrest”, “get in the face” of GOP congressman, “when they go low, we kick them” the last 5 years.

*Rioters’ shameful acts did enormous damage to their cause today.
*Media’s hypocrisy in condemning riots so indignantly after downplaying violent BLM riots all summer is obvious;
*Much to blame for what happened—namely: 4 yrs of Ds, Trump & media destroying all norms/trust.
