In our ‘Housing Crisis Action Plan’ as part of our manifesto, we pledged to set up a scheme through Andium Homes to support first time buyers.

Today our Leader and Deputy Leader visited the Customer and Local Services Department in their capacities as Minister for Housing and Minister for Social Security.

We are determined to do everything we can to improve support for Islanders through this cost of living crisis.

The newly appointed Minister for Social Security is Deputy Deputy Lyndsay Feltham.

The newly elected Minister for Housing and Communities is Deputy Sam Mézec, who received 31 votes.

Deputy Warr received 10 votes, and there were 6 abstentions.
