Never even an attempt to explain the historical causes, the grievances of both sides, or why any of it should matter to US foreign policy.

In Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Ukraine, Israel/Gaza, people against the conflict go to great lengths to try to explain the context and what’s actually going on, while the people who want more war spend all their rhetorical strength trying to keep the public from learning it.
