Today, I'm joining Paul Torres, a returning citizen who spent 90 days in solitary confinement, in calling on the BOP to implement some serious solitary reforms. This cruel form of punishment has been proven to cause lasting mental and physical harm - it's on us to take action.

Black women in the U.S. are three times more likely to die from pregnancy complications than white women. As a proud cosponsor of the #CAREForMomsAct , we're going to eliminate these disparities and ensure Black mothers and babies have equal access to maternal health resources.

Team Maryland is working with Governor Wes Moore to secure funding for the Francis Scott Key Bridge and reopen the Port of Baltimore. Our port workers and small businesses stand to lose $2.2 million a day as the Port remains closed. We must support these folks in their hour of need.

I feel for the millions of Arizonans who will have to cross state lines to receive essential health care. Reverting back to a 160-year-old law that was passed before women even had the right to vote is cruel. We won't rest until reproductive rights are guaranteed for everyone.

Disappointed but not surprised. From blocking bipartisan annual funding bills to obstructing crucial infrastructure, the House Freedom Caucus has repeatedly held the American economy hostage.

We will fight for federal funding to get Baltimore back in business — swiftly and safely.

The temporary closure of the Port of Baltimore isn't a Maryland problem, it's an American one.

Next week, Congress returns to Washington and I will continue to fight to ensure Baltimore gets what it deserves to rebuild and reopen.
