Today, I welcomed Aum Purani, our district’s winner of the 2023 Congressional App Challenge, to D.C.! I was so inspired by the innovation and skill of Aum, and all the incredible young people across our district, who participated in this year’s competition. Congrats, Aum!

I’m devastated to hear about the shooting at an Eid celebration in Philadelphia earlier today. Our Muslim communities should be able to celebrate Eid free from violence & fear, and I’m praying for the swift recovery of the victims.

Last week I visited the Jewish Day School, where I spoke with students & faculty about my experiences as a Jewish Member of Congress. I love visiting schools across our district, and I’m working every day to ensure we are setting our students up for success.

Allentown has some of the worst asthma rates in the country. Now, after tireless advocacy, some major companies are lowering the cost of inhalers for the millions of Americans who depend on them. I’m calling on all drug companies to follow suit & cap the cost of inhalers at $35.

The Arizona Supreme Court’s move to resurrect an antiquated, near-total abortion ban puts the lives of all Arizonans at risk.
