Meet Grace, a member of our Youth Advisory Council!

Grace is a student in Toronto. She has published over 30 poetry and prose pieces in various magazines and anthologies. Grace believes in the power of storytelling to represent humanity in complex and empowering ways.

Over the weekend, we hosted our 7th annual Flip The Script benefit. It was moving to see so many people come together to honor women of courage. We were especially grateful to the Youth Advisory Council members who joined us for a powerful conversation about finding their voice.

The American Women Quarters Program is a four-year iniative celebrating the accomplishments of trailblazing women. The final honorees include Vera Rubin, Ida B. Wells, Juliette Gordon Low, Stacey Park Milbern, and Althea Gibson.

Over 2 million women have served in the U.S. Military. Their contributions have also paved the way for future generations of women service members. Today, on #VeteransDay , we are honoring them and all those who have served and sacrificed for this country.

Galileo is a first-year in college and is majoring in global studies. He hopes to gain new knowledge and leave a positive impact as a council member.
