We often call our teammates - those who score the winning TD, kick the winning FG, or block a potentially game-winning kick - heroes. We're wrong. The true heroes are Steve Gleason - "Live Impossible" O.J. Brigance and all those who are living with ALS . THEY are the true heroes.

Max Tuerk was a USC and NFL O-lineman who passed away unexpectedly in 2020 at age 26. Boston University CTE Center researchers studied Tuerk's brain and diagnosed him with stage 1 CTE.
