Absolutely incredible turn out for our Govanhill Spring Clean and community meal today. Organised in conjunction with local orgs, residents and the Al Farooq mosque. Over 100 people came to meet their neighbours and improve the local environment.

I enjoyed every bit of this engagement with The Ferret & Greater Govanhill CIC. Their solutions journalism accelerator collaborative project investigated responses to Scotland’s health inequalities. I shared few insights & lessons from the experience here.

A slightly awkward moment during the House of Lords journalism hearing yesterday. I didn't mean to look 'very annoyed'...

But: I think we can only fix local news if we are honest about how broken it is. You can't stop the fire if you refuse to admit the house is burning.

Today is International Day for Palestinian Journalists.

Four months since the start of the war in Gaza, 100 journalists – the equivalent of 7 per week – have been killed.

We #SupportPalestinianJournalists & call for this targeting to end.
