Leeds is keen to send the Tories packing.

And with local elections and the West Yorkshire Mayor election on Thursday 2nd May and a General Election on its way, there’s three opportunities for voters to do it!

Yesterday I wrote to the Foreign Secretary demanding an inquiry into whether UK arms were used to kill UK aid workers in Gaza.

Today reports suggest a Hermes drone was used in the strike and key components could be UK made.

The Government must immediately publish what it knows.

The killing of humanitarian aid workers is a war crime.

The very least our Government must do now is stop selling arms to Israel.

But it must also work to ensure those responsible for war crimes are held to account and face justice.

With reports that British nationals are among the seven aid workers killed in Gaza by an Israeli airstrike, I have written to the Foreign Secretary demanding an immediate investigation into whether British-supplied arms have been used to kill British nationals.

Our Government must immediately investigate whether British arms exports have been used in killing a British aid worker in Gaza.

Once again this whole incident shows why our Government must suspend arms sales to Israel. Now.
