Doesn’t seem like a total accident that the NYPD raids on students at Columbia and CCNY are happening at the same time that Rafah is under brutal siege

Just came back from the UCLA campus. A few quick thoughts:

1. The encampment is not very disruptive. It occupies a tiny part of UCLA's massive campus. Though it's been there for days, I saw a lot of students discovering it for the first time and asking 'what's going on?'

The New York Times is reporting this filmed Zionist assault at UCLA as “violent clashes,” adding, “It was not immediately clear who was responsible for the violence.”

This is a lie. You are liars. I know you see the same footage we do. This is not journalism, it’s propaganda.

no legal observers, cherry-picked journalists, no faculty, no students not living in campus residences—columbia clearly means to keep the world from seeing the brutality they are about to unleash on their own students

My mother found out that more than 200 people in her extended family have been killed in Gaza.She was previously told it was 24. This raises questions about the actual death toll in Gaza given that there’s no real way to keep track. Palestinians are in a state of constant grief
