Real show of inexperience from the England middle/lower order there. Just had to knock it about & cruise. Good show from the NZ women though & positive that the series is alive for the viewing public in NZ.

My my take on the series…..

India phenomenal, scary levels of depth. Deserve every credit.

England need a rethink. Sticking with the formula and beating WI&SL in the summer proves nothing. Need to be prioritising youth with the bowling, move on from Wood & Robinson.

Question for Indian cricket fans… what’s the deal with a test match in Dharamsala? What is the likelihood of play. As things stand, they will be bringing hot water bottles & a teapot out with the drinks.

I feel like the English fans & media need to decide whether we are in favour of this “Bazball” or not. The flip flopping from all out praise & waxing lyrical about the approach, to utter condemnation when it inevitably doesn’t always come off is getting tiresome.

India's home record is fearsome and their XI will be packed with quality in Rajkot and beyond.

The emerging narrative from some home fans that we're now favourites to win because of their injury absences is neither convincing nor subtle.

Try again.

The forecast for the final test in a months time looks like it might be right up Englands street if this doesn’t change much 🤣

It’s absolute pleasure to watch this England team. Only a couple of years ago, it would be a case of waiting for the inevitable defeat as England meekly try and bat out two days.

England may still lose badly, but there is plenty of entertainment in store tomorrow 👍🏼

Foakes excellent keeping in this series, really presents a problem for the selectors when Brook returns. Good keeping scores runs for your team as well as batting.

Sadly I think it will come down to the currency of runs from the bat. Eyes on him & Bairstow.

Reality check by India in this innings. Freak result in the last game, but they are still very much heavy favourites in this series. Phenomenal bowling attack.

I do actually think India’s tactics here are smart. Good pitch, bat long and back their superior bowling attack to restrict England to less.

When James Anderson burst on the scene with this 4-fer against India’s arch rivals Pakistan at the 2003 World Cup, Rehan Ahmed & Shoaib Bashir were not even born.

'One of the great moments in the history of West Indies cricket.'

What a day at the Gabba! Here's how our commentary team — jim maxwell, Glenn McGrath and @carlhooper — called the winning moment.
