For Palm Sunday, an excerpt from Part 2 of the Messiah “Surely He Has Borne our Griefs” - Christ’s suffering on his journey to the cross.
Sung last night with power & collective intent by the full chorus; 237 individuals singing as one with beautifully articulated accompaniment.

Well that was a rather good night. Prep singers, senior school singers, choral soc, parents, teachers, community choir Tees Valley Youth Choir (TVYC), Middlesbrough cathedral, our incredible soloists and the mightily impressive Black Dyke Band, take one enormous bow. Thank you from the ❤️

So proud of every performer involved in working with incredible focus and enthusiasm for Saturday’s Messiah. To quote one of our students, rehearsing for the 1st time with choral soc this eve; “this is so cool” 👍🏻
