More than 100,000 Canadians are living with Parkinson's. During April, Parkinson’s Awareness Month, I want to recognize the important work Parkinson Canada does improving the lives of Canadians living with this chronic disorder. I’m proud to have their national HQ in #DVW .

I am concerned about the effect of the water main break on the residents of Thorncliffe Park - especially as many are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr. I urge the City of Toronto to do everything in the power to fix it as quickly as possible.

Tonight, we celebrated the introduction of Bill C-384 to recognize October as Turkish Heritage Month. A wonderful initiative to highlight and learn about the rich heritage, cultural traditions and remarkable contributions of the Turkish-Canadian community to our country.
