iPhone : To ensure there are shelters available as a last resort only we’ve worked with Public Health England to prepare guidance.

29,000 people are housed today as a result.

It’s one of the most successful initiatives of its kind in the world.

Now we’ve prepared a plan for winter.

iPhone : Today I announced a new package of support for rough sleepers & those at risk of becoming homeless, to help keep them safe this winter.

iPhone : We will be providing an additional £1Bn to councils in England to ensure they have the resources needed this winter.

This comes on top of the £5Bn we have provided since the start of the pandemic.

We’re hugely grateful for the hard work of council staff across the country.
