Of a gentle scratch!
A pleasure which
Few things can match,
Except perhaps
A tasty treat,
Placed in homage
At Rolf's feet.
Or maybe
A squirrel to chase,
Especially if done
At a fast pace.
Even better
If to a tune,
Makes a morning
Or afternoon!

Rolf the Warwick University Campus Cat Rolf's happy to be back
With a new daily routine
A visit to the chalet
To lay peanuts near the clear screen

Then he plays the waiting game
To see who turns up to feed
Will it be pigeons or squirrelly type things?
Or something in-between!!

Rolf report 11 Apr: I think it’s fair to say that most of us moggies love to be high up. One of my favourite perches is in reception on top of the bookshelves. Perhaps appropriate then that one of the books just under me is entitled “Britain From The Air”. Rolf x

Rolf report 10 Apr: I’m not a big fan of bizarre climatological phenomena, to be honest. So when we recently had a nasty hail storm I wasn’t particularly chuffed about it. But in the end I always feel safe at home, especially when one of my humans makes comforting noises. Rolf x

Rolf report 9 Apr: Thank you all for the lovely comments yesterday. I’m v happy to back & connecting with you all… Meantime my daily routine now involves going out to the chalet (aka garden studio), setting out a load of peanuts & then waiting for customers to show up. Rolf x
