Today was the fourth biggest home-and-away crowd in VFL/AFL history. The annual Essendon v Collingwood Anzac Day game has attracted 6 of the league’s top 10 home-and-away crowds

Agree with everything except the part about the grand final replay. In a national competition, absolutely unfair to expect a non-Victorian team to travel home and back to the MCG again to saddle up 7 days later after 2 hours of absolutely brutal football

No Taylor, no Greene, no Coniglio . Brisbane weren’t gonna get a better chance to beat GWS than tonight, yet they’ve produced an absolute stinker so far tonight. Something very off about the Lions this year

Today actually proves that there shouldn’t be extra time . Neither side deserved to win, really. Both teams had 2 hours to try and win. If they weren’t able to. Bad luck!

As bad as Langford’s kick was at the end, how about Mihocek? Worst I’ve seen him kick in a very long time! Usually so reliable. Missed so many gettable shots. Would’ve won the medal if he had his kicking boots on

Since I’ve been going to the footy (1990), the top 5 Bombers I’ve ever seen are probably Hird, Lloyd, Fletcher, Wanganeen and Mercuri. But Zach Merrett is catching up I reckon. What a champion he has become

Unbelievable game of footy. Both teams had their chances to win it. Probably a fitting result in the end. The 2 teams really could not be split. Reckon the Dons take more out of it. Again they show they have some serious grit, determination and never-say-die attitude

Dons doing well to turn this into arm wrestle. Could’ve easily seen Pies run away with it after their Q2. If it wasn’t for that Cox turnover, Dons might be in front! Huge Q4 coming up, still reckon Pies will be hard to beat, but could extra day’s rest help Essendon?

What a cracking first half. Unbelievable how similar this has been to last week when Collingwood fought back against Port. Difference is Dons are still in front. But they’ll have to wake up coz they were absolutely dominated in Q2. Can’t win if that trend continues

Bombers picking up where they left off the last 2 weeks with excellent work in the clearances and contested possession in the first quarter. And the tall timber are troubling Collingwood early too

That was one of the most breakneck, electrifying quarters of football Essendon played for quite some time. Sensational stuff. Deja vu for the Magpies who conceded 6 of the first 7 goals last week too. That’ll give them some hope of coming back today

The 1995 Anzac Day montage that 3AW Melbourne 3AW Football just played was some of the best radio I’ve ever heard. Unbelievable nostalgia and memories!! Big Rex in all his glory

To the men and women who fought for us in previous wars, and those currently on active duty, thank you for ensuring we live in the greatest country on the planet. It’s a debt of gratitude that can never be paid back ❤️

JAMAL MURRAY!!! Unbelievable!!! Lebron was enormous in the final quarter but, again, the Nuggets just had too many weapons and outgunned the Lakers. Murray, Jokic, Porter all came up huge down the stretch
